Lahore Region has completed the appointments of tutors for autumn 2009 semester. Students Lists have been provided to all tutors. Afterwards they will send intimation letters to students. Hopefully, students will receive intimations very soon.

Teaching Practice for M.A. /M.Ed in Special Education for Semester Spring 2009 (Code 675 and 3600)

Teaching Practice for M.A. /M.Ed in Special Education for Semester Spring 2009 (Code 675 and 3600)
Dear Student
You might have successfully completed teaching practice according to your specialization in concerned Special Education Institution and now be anxiously waiting for demonstration of final lessons to prove your worth as a special educator.
We are sorry for delay scheduling the final lessons programme. It was all due to your final examination.
You were advised to submit 10 observtions, file/register of 40 lessons (IEPs) (duly signed by the Supervisor/Head of the school), project work (for M.A students only) before 15th December 2009.
As you know each student has to demonstrate two lessons as final examination after the teaching practice. The schedule for final lessons is enclosed here with. Please do come with full preparation as per schedule and remember to bring with you:
i) Two Final Lessons (on your own choice) each in separate file/folder. However subject topic and class must be different.
ii) Appropriate A.V Aids to support the demonstration of final lessons.
iii) Braille frame, paper and stylus (for students of Visual Impairment)
The final lessons will be evaluated by the faculty member of the Department of Special Education, AIOU or their nominee. There would be a viva voce or test of Braille, Sign Language, Classroom placement, peer tutoring and types of disabilities followed by the demonstration.
